4. Confidentiality & Video Sessions

Confidentiality is a cornerstone of our practice. We use end-to-end encrypted platforms for all online therapy.

  • Platforms: We typically use Whereby

  • No Recording: Neither the therapist nor the client may record sessions without prior written agreement.

  • Environment: Your therapist will always be in a private, secure location. We advise you to do the same.

5. Data Retention (How long we keep info)

We do not keep data longer than necessary.

  • General Inquiries: Deleted after [e.g., 6 months] if therapy does not commence.

  • Clinical Records: Retained for 7 years after your therapy ends, as required by professional indemnity insurance and ethical frameworks. After this, records are securely destroyed.

6. Third-Party Sharing

We never sell your data. We only share information with:

  • Clinical Supervisors: As required by professional bodies (data is anonymized).

  • Legal/Safety Obligations: If there is a risk of serious harm to yourself or others, or if required by a Court Order.
