About Me
My name is Haylie and I am Person Centred counsellor based in Crawley, West Sussex.
I have always been a good listener, I believe its because I am genuinely interested in hearing peoples stories. Everyone is different and everyone has their own way of navigating through. So for me, every person and their story needs to be valued.
I know how beneficial counselling can be. When I was struggling with anxiety, I took the step and began talking therapy. Through long term work I was able to lift the weight that I had been carrying for so long. I was left feeling lighter and 'free'.
It was from this point on, that I wanted to take my listening skills further and support others to overcome whatever may be troubling them. I began training to become a qualified counsellor.
A few years on and I still find it a privilege to walk beside people and be a part of their journey.
My background includes, support worker for clients who are neurodiverse, volunteering for an organisation that supports people who are caring for others and SEN coordinator in a childcare setting.
